Receiving Additional Resources

Some students become eligible for public or private grants or scholarships after they have received their MU financial aid packages.

If you receive a scholarship check from a source outside of Mizzou, you should mail the check to our office at 11 Jesse Hall, Columbia, MO 65211. Be sure to include your MU student number on any correspondence.

If you receive additional aid, your financial aid offer might change.

  • MU will not provide funds exceeding the cost of attendance as established for financial aid purposes.
  • Accepting additional aid might affect your eligibility for other private, federal, state, or institutional aid programs.
  • Financial aid offers are subject to change based upon corrections or changes to your FAFSA

Non-Missouri-resident students whose out-of-state fees are paid by another source are not eligible to receive fee waivers through automatic scholarships. If you gain Missouri residency while receiving a non-resident automatic scholarship, you will automatically forfeit the annual award.

If your aid amounts are adjusted after your financial aid package has been accepted, you will be notified by our office.
