Mizzou offers a variety of scholarships through the Mizzou Scholarship Application Portal. Available scholarships cover a wide range of eligibility criteria, including merit (such as academic achievement), leadership, or service; financial need (as determined by the FAFSA); and/or other factors, such as hometown, major, or other unique qualifications. Students should submit the general Mizzou Scholarship Application by the published Scholarship Application priority deadline and ensure all other applications are submitted by the respective deadlines published in the portal.
Applying for Scholarships
Current and incoming students can log into the Mizzou Scholarship Application Portal using their Mizzou-assigned username and password created upon admit.
Go to Missouri scholarship application portal
- Available applications will be listed in the “Tasks” section on the home page.
- As you complete your application, your responses will be saved automatically.
- You may exit the application at any time and return to complete it prior to the Scholarship Application deadline.
- Please disregard the green Application Progress bar at the top of your application. The bar represents all available questions and is not a reflection of your individual progress.
- Always review your answers before submitting. If you need to make changes, click on the appropriate update link to return to that page in the application. Please be sure to read any instructions and disclaimers.
- When you are satisfied with your responses and are ready to submit, press the “Submit Application” button. You will receive an email notification confirming your submission.
- Your applications will be used to match you to scholarships that you would qualify for.
- Once you have submitted your application, you will not be able to make changes.
After You Apply
- To review submitted applications, log in to the Mizzou Scholarship Application Portal, then scroll to the bottom of the home page to the “Completed Tasks” section. Click “Review your answers” to view any application you have previously submitted.
- If you need to update or change your application after submission, please contact Mizzou Student Financial Aid at mizzousfascholarships@missouri.edu.
- If you are selected as a scholarship recipient, you will receive an email notification to your Mizzou student email, and you will be able to view your awards in the portal.
ScholarshipUniverse
ScholarshipUniverse is being phased out and will no longer be available after December 2026. Going forward, most scholarship applications will be available through the Mizzou Scholarship Application Portal. Some academic units may continue to use ScholarshipUniverse through December 2026 during this transition.
