Automatic scholarships

The University of Missouri offers several scholarships for which students are considered automatically when they are admitted to MU.

Other MU scholarships require the students to apply using the MU Annual Scholarship Application.

Basic Minimum Criteria*

Mizzou Scholars Award $10,000 33 ACT or 1450 SAT score by Dec. 15 of senior year in high school, application required
Chancellor's Award $6,500 31 ACT or 1390 or higher SAT
Curators Scholar Award $4,500 28-30 ACT or 1300-1380 SAT
Excellence Award $3,000 25-27 ACT or 1200-1290 SAT

Residency

Nonresident students whose nonresident tuition is paid by another source are not eligible to receive fee waivers through automatic scholarships. If you gain Missouri residency while receiving a non-resident automatic scholarship, you will automatically forfeit the annual award. More about non-Missouri resident scholarships.

Scholarships for first-time college students: Missouri residents

These awards cannot be combined with other awards in the list.  You will receive the largest award you qualify for.
