Graduate cost of attendance

The cost of a graduate education at the University of Missouri varies from student to student and from program to program. Obtain tuition and fee information from the school or college you plan to attend:

Budgets used by the Office of Student Financial Aid in determining eligibility for financial aid include:

1. Direct university charges:

  • tuition
  • non-resident tuition
  • on-campus housing and dining

2. Estimates of indirect expenses:

  • books and supplies
  • off-campus housing and dining
  • personal expenses
  • transportation expenses

MU uses average budgets in the initial determination of need. Because we use averages, the figures used by the Office of Student Financial Aid may vary slightly from other published figures.

* The cost of attendance presented is a standardized estimate of various university charges and other educational expenses.  Amounts are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the governing board, provided no increases to tuition/fees are effective unless approved by the governing board at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the academic term to which the tuition and fees are applicable.  Any approved revision of tuition/fees is effective regardless of whether they have been paid prior to the effective date of the revision.
